Only one item left on the list for this morning. Once that is crossed off, we can head to the airport. On the way will be picking up some of the people who are traveling and me on the first part of this adventure. Rumor has it that there is champagne and French cheeses waiting at one of the stops. What a way to start a trip.
Our BIS (butts in seats) time to leave the house is in less than 40 minutes. So now the panic starts to set-in. What did I forget? Peddles, shoes, helmet, water bottles, shorts, jerseys, glasses, gloves - nope they are all in my very large suitcase. I always forget something. Hopefully it's some insignificant.
BTW, the new bike has arrived from the bike shop in Rome and is awaiting assembly at our cycling "camp". I was going to ask William to take a picture of it all wrapped-up in the box, but that might be a bit too much.
